Breaking: Next-generation Audi Q7 to take on Bmw X6

According to our sources from Ingolstadt, it appears that Audi is seriously considering in giving a punch to the Bmw X6 and the brand new Acura ZDX. So, what is the German manufacturing planning? Well, it seems that a new Audi Q7 will come in 2013 in two different versions: a 7-seat long version, just like the current Q7 but also a 5-seat coupe-like version inspired by the Bmw X6.

Wouldn't that be the Audi Q6 then? Hence they made a Q5 so they could have the space for one. I doubt they would call it the Q7 Sportback. Audi is pretty renowned for not using too many words THANK GOD as some others are starting to do.

2nd that...the Q7 is a large family hauler, not a single-man's show car like the X6, FX, Cayenne, ZDX, etc.

If Audi did make a "Q6", it would probably be BAD-ASS. Think A5/S5 with more ground clearance.

This is a very small segment of the market. Saying that, the X6 is the best for now and probably will stay that way in the future.

I BELIEVE THAT THIS IS A DUMB MOVE!!! THE NEXT GENERATION AUDI Q7 SHOULD TAKE ON THE MERCEDES-BENZ GL-CLASS!!! I remember sitting in the X6 when it was newly introduced.... Im personally a person that is over 6 foot and that kind of head room in those rear seats are by far the biggest dissapointments I have ever experienced in an SUV EVER!!!! I must admit.... if you are ever going to consider the X6..... just dont bother wasting your time and take the X5.... atleast there is a "point" to shelling out your money on a supposedly called "SUV"

"A5 Sportback" is sufficient to describe the Vehicle to anybody

The fact it is an AUDI is already evident with the A5, and Quattro does not need to be mentioned unless you are specifically asked { Only Nerds give full breakdown of their vehicles Unprompted }
