EXPOSED: Does Honda's HSV-10 Sound Better Than The Lexus LF-A?
Now that Honda has announced that they will be racing the HSV-10, it is pretty clear to see that everyone was interested in hearing what this car sounded like. Well, that has quickly been SPIED.

Seen testing at the Suzuka Circuit in Japan, the new NSX has quite an ear-splitting sound. Like the Lexus LF-A, it is easy to compare this vehicle's sound to that of the brand's F1 counterparts.

My, oh my. What a sound. AND, look for the burst of fire in the first video at the 5:17 mark!

Let us know your thoughts, SPIES, is this sound to die for?

Funny, but Honda (Brawn GP) just won the F1 champ!

brawn gp ain't honda you fool. it's mercedes powered. if it wasn't why would they bother buying a honda powered team?

Everything (Car, Chasis, Team Member, Race Managers, Workers, Engineers and Technical persons) were Honda this season. Only the engine was leased from Mercedes.

I like th NSX more than the LFA sound but both are very nice.

The original racing version of the LFA sounds pretty much the same in a stadium flyby. Comparing their sounds is like comparing F1 sounds.

Why compare a racing V8 car to a production V10 car?

The Lexus V10 is production-ready while the Honda V8 is strictly race-spec'd. If Honda ever decides to produce the car they'll have to tone the race engine down a whole lot from its 10300rpm rev limit to meet production-level reliability and emission targets.

TurboSpyder.. most of the staff member of Toyota F1 and honda F1 were European, imagine if they were all Japanese, that'd make the different..
at gthe end of the day, tghey didn;t get the right people in tghe team to work together despite the money they spent..

TurboSpyder insults the Japanese and you're insulting the Europeans in your post. Two trolls in action. Nice.

We've all heard the V10 NSx that was in testing. It sounded good too. However it all depends on which part of the tracks you are recording from so I won't pass judgment on it until I see one in person, if ever. Sound travels to weird places and bounces off. However, the HSV-10 sounds great if you ask me. It's not hard to get that type of sound off a V8 or V10. Ferrari, Lamborghini, and Pagani (w/Mercedes motors) have been doing it for years.

As for sound they all sound great. The dilemma is which one to buy.

Come on let's be real here! You absolutely cannot compare any race car to the LFA. These things are designed for this purpose. The NSX from a year ago still didnt sound as fierce as the LFA, so you guys can stop hopin and a wishin cause Honda dont have the cash and engineering prowess to compete with Lexus as far as refined production ready supercars go.

I agreed with you at first, you cannot compare a racecar to any production car. But then you had to go ahead and make a rediculous statement like "engineering prowess". Sure they're conserving cash, but Honda is the number one combustion engine builder in the world and they do have a long and successful history in racing, please, get your lexus fanboy goggles off for just a moment.

Furthermore, If you remember Lexus only aloud us to see the production version of the LFA in race form(a stripped down LFA w/ decals and hidden patches, roll-cage etc). Once again, they're allowing Honda to jump the gun get out there buzz around like a busy little bee and....swat!!!!!!!!!!!!!....Out comes the real race ready LFA for track use only. Watch what I tell ya!

Looks like you are a full fledged Lexus bandwagon member on some Lexus juice. You're a true fanboy I must admit and a great one at that. Do you have posters on your bedroom walls and desktop wallpapers as well?

Swallow before you drool all over yourself. Lets be real here you are nothing but a dreamer boy staring at those photos hopin' and a wishin you got that cash and paper making prowness to afford an NSX, GTR, or your beloved LF-A(Little Flower Automobile).

if honda takes whats good in the racer and put it in production then i must say the nsx and lf-a will be the best sounding japanese super cars. the gtr i must admit sounds boring and is flat. it would be nice if the gtr had sound to go with the performance. my 300zx with special racing exhaust sounds like the gtr gt500. i clocked my time to 60mph in 3.9 seconds and it sounds great. why cant the production gtr do the same?

The Honda NSX sound is amazing.

This car will also be in production since it is mandatory for competing in the GT races.

LFA is the soft and fragile brother to the NSX beast

Not really. Honda took advantage of a loophole in the rules, which only required approval of a production "plan". Honda submitted plans for the NSX replacement model and got approved to race in Super GT, and THEN canned the production plan. But since they got the approval first, they are now allowed to race despite the change in plan.
