in every way. I keep hearing people bitch how this car looks like a Taurus in the front (still don't see it) and how it looks a lot like the Aston Martin....Well I think Jaguar did a classy redesign on it's sporty model. I personally like the coupe best, but the convertible is still a classic and a looker. The interior is goregous...I hope when the R models come out, Jaguar will utilize maybe machined aluminium or in place of the wood...or maybe a piano black facia....that would be hot!

Do I see the interor dash of the Ford 500 and the grille of the outgoing Ford Taurus?

Jaguar has had the oval grill since the birth of the E-Type....so I guess Ford copied Jaguar. And who is to say Ford did not raid Jaguar from a lil of its style to design it's interiors....after all FOrd does own Jaguar.

I think the previous generation had more of the 'traditional' Jaguar luxury ammenities. I can't pinpoint what exactly the major changes are but the car as a whole looks smaller and the styling is beginning to look very 'domestic' rather than a English premium brand.

Maybe it'll grow on me once i see this in person.

Top Gear were masturbating furiously over this. Like some of the other posters here I just don't get it. The rear is nice, but the front end lacks that special something. It just looks bland. Probably a result of legislation: thanks to all those pesky pedestrians, cars are only going to get uglier...
