lol it's a funny episode, but I found it stupid that he was testing the diesel over the 2 monster petrol engines. At the end of the day, he's a BMW hater, and will never get the concept of a sporty SUV.

Well, I respect his view point and in several ways he is right. The cars is pointless, but it is a technological achivemet. The car is excelent, sadly is ugly and not the car that BMW needs right now to make money.

Usually, cars look strange in pictures and then as you see them on the roads, you get used to it and all of a sudden, they do not look too bad...

In the case of the X6, it just has never grown on me and it still looks bad and without merit, IMO.

I like how it looks on the front end and rear end when looking at it directly. However I find the car pointless. My partners have X5's and they are all in the same to me. The X5 is a nice luxurious SUV and very comfortable whereas the X6 is just an X5 with a sloping roof-line. If they tested the powerful petrol versions wouldn't it have dug itself a hole on that grass hill?. The way I see it. If you want a fast BMW go get yourself one of the M cars. Otherwise enjoy what you get from the "normal" models. An SUV is not meant for performance but to be a sport utility vehicle. Not a Sport Racing Vehicle. I do like how the X5 M and the ML63 look though , they are my favorite "SPORT-SUV's".
