Upcoming Audi A7 will have interior quality equal to the A8

Back in 2009, Audi confirmed the forthcoming A7 and its debut for 2011, but new details regarding the new model emerged on the web. According to our sources, the new model will show an interior quality “equal to the A8’s”.

The new A7 will compete with cars such as the Bmw 5-Series GT and the new Mercedes-Benz CLS, but we expect it to bring a fresh breeze of air among these type of vehicles. The Audi A7 will be a blend of A6 and A8 and will continue the theme developed by the A5, although, unlike the A5, the new sedan will not offer a coupe version.

audi has some of the cleanest interior designs in the industry so i would guess the interior on the A7 wouldnt be less than spectacular....But we will see

The CLS and A7 will lead this segment. The 5GT is ugly it's got no purpose and the styling is horrible. It's much like the X6, a car that fills no gaps. It's horrible with head room in the rear and it's neither a sedan nor an SUV. SAV? no such thing. It can't even climb a little grass hill where a Range Rover could easily accomplish. The A7 will probably see some decent sales but obviously relying on the A3 & A4 for volume. Not hating on BMW's in case them fan boys decide to retaliate but it's true!. I love the M3 and the new 7 series one of the best cars sold today!

You kinda have a point Agent63....the 5 GT is perfect until you hit that ugly rear end Im not going to lie about that. I dont think the 5 GT was targeted toward the CLS if it was the people at BMW are FOOLS. The A7 I see as a perfected shape that the 5GT should have been or close too. I think the 5GT will not do well over the A7 because of the shape alone. But you have to think BMW has that 5 year maintenance warranty so that may also sell the GT over the A7. Now my arguement with the X6 which I love I think its unique in its own way and I think its getting the infiniti FX/EX buyers to think about a BMW now with that said and all of that negative stuff you said about the X6 where does that put the Infiniti FX/EX.

To me if your going to put out all of that negativity out about the X6 The infiniti FX/EX fall in that category also. and what about the all new Acura ZDX which is competing with the X6 or the so called X6 killer. Now what i think about the 5GT.....I think (but I hope not) they are trying to phase out the 5 series station wagons and use that design as the new upper middle class yuppie soccer mom car. I think the 5GT is here to stay and we may see the station wagon phase out IMO.....

You are right huu76. The A7 is basically an upgraded
VW CC. I was in one a few months ago and thought it was a nice car, but the A7 will be overpriced for what you would get compared to the VW.
