Auto sales in Japan declined to their lowest in 38 years
The US experienced an auto sales slump the past year that had total annual sales down some 24% from the previous year. But it isn’t only the US carmakers that are hurting as the Japanese auto industry recorded a 38-year low in car sales. In 2009, Japanese consumers held onto their money and saved much of it.

As a result, the total auto sales for the year dropped below 3 million for the first time since 1971, according to the Japanese Automotive Dealers Association.

Hirochirwa Matsutaki is holding on to his Yen because it is going up in values. They should make cars that go faster and be less boring and then they will sell more cars.
