you put the CLS on the list? There's not even a car there, it's a sculpture. And it's not even a sculpture of the car, it's a sculpture of the car under a tarp. Are the other cars there that boring that "best in show" might be a sculpture of a car hiding under a tarp? Seriously? Then I'm glad I haven't gone yet this year.

Luckily, we're not locked up in padded room after seeing the Detroit Auto Show and surrounding region.

Oh yeah and the smell of vomit permeating throughout Cobo Hall was the icing on the cake.

Cadillac XTS Platinum concept. It shows GM is capable of making something nobody in the industry has even got close to. An uncompromised high efficiency luxury sedan.

Not sure if any of you have heard but I just read on some sites that Haiti got a huge quake. God bless the Haitians.

article: http://marcusginn.com/2010/01/7-0-earthquake-strikes-haitis-most-populous-city ... pretty bad.

Anyways back to cars =)

I really liked the GMC Granite. It seems like a really nice practical vehicle and it looks great too. I also really like the XTS

I am thinking the Focus. For its class it is top of the game. The Caddy sure isn't, the VW will be an also ran, , the Chrysler is just odd, and the sculpture and a couple of never reaching production concepts mean nothing to me.

FitzLA, Chicago isn't to far away and then we get into the international show season. It isn't so bad.
