2010 DETROIT AUTO SHOW: DUB Customizes The New Five-Oh, Do You Dig It?

Our friends over at DUB Magazine have got something for anyone who likes a customized machine. And, they have a proper car enthusiast representing it.

With the new 5.0 Mustang set to roam the streets soon, DUB built a customized Mustang for Nelly.

The New York Times reports:

"Lawyers for the rapper Nelly will be busy defending speeding tickets if his predictions come true. Nelly and Jim Farley, vice president of marketing for Ford, showed off Nelly’s custom Mustang GT, which will appear on the cover of his coming album on Tuesday at the 2010 North American International Auto Show.

“I already called my lawyers to get them on deck for more tickets,” Nelly said to the crowd at the Ford stand, around a new Mustang GT 5-liter. The St. Louis native is a car collector, with an impressive collection of luxury cars. He said he has been waiting for Ford to reproduce the iconic 5.0 engine. When he met with Mr. Farley last year in a visit to the Ford design center, Nelly gave him his feedback..."

Why is there a poser hiding the car? It looks like it's gloss black with matte black stripes which looks really nice... but I can't tell for sure.

There is a magazine called DUB? Please tell me it has something to do other than with dub wheels. Nice Mustang though, change the wheels and we are good to go.
