2010 DETROIT AUTO SHOW: With Winners Come Losers, YOU Pick The WORST In Show...
There can be a variety of sayings and phrases that can really capture the essence of an auto show. But, I think I'll go with "with the good comes the bad," for this particularly piece.
Although the 2010 North American International Auto Show had its ups, it certainly had its downs. For instance, although we knew that the Chrysler/Lancia Delta was going to be there, it just seems downright cartoonish to see it in the flesh. I hope this half-hearted attempt is not all that the "new" Chrysler has up its sleeve.
That would not make Chrysler seem "new" at all.
Thankfully, that is not the only car at the show that seemed to get some laughs. We have plenty more. But we need your help to pick out the baddest of the baddies.
Take a look below and voice your thoughts in the comments...

From what words were circulating amongst professionals at the event it is a "love it or hate it" design.
It's what we like to call "polarizing."
I, for one, am interested in it but cannot figure out if I can get over its rear end.

I'm afraid there's not big winners this year, it's pretty lame.
The most anticapated cars where the CR-Z, the Focus and the CTS coupe.
I's say the CR-Z is the loser because it's nothing more than a 2-seater insight. New focus is a winner but, it's still a Focus. The CTS coupe is also a winner but it's just a variant of an already existing car so it's no big surprise.
Other than that ? Lots of EV/Hybrids/one seaters/microcar concepts, some refreshed models(fenced-MKX), rebagded-in-a-hurry Lancias and probably a lot of cars that did not manage to catch my attention.
Globally, it's been a boring autoshow.

Cadillac XLR is awesome
Audi E-Tron/R4 whatever is nice
The new Mustang 5.0 motor is amazing
The Worst is the Honda CR-Vomit
It seems the show was quite nothing earth shattering...I feel the past few years it has been more of the same lackadaisical technology...nothing innovated that gives me something I could not really get before.

It certainly wasn't the worst car there, but the Honda CR-Z was such a disappointment, I'd give it the crown (toilet bowl lid). I'm still having difficulty believing those horrid specs, tiny 122 hp hybrid that only gets 38 mpg on the highway. This can't be right, can it? What's going on Honda. Time for a soul-searching offsite with the product team.

Anything in that weird 100mpg section is going to be weird. The new Chrysler (non 300) did not look bad but I only see one view of it and the rest is blocked by a model I'd rate at a 4.
CTS Coupe I like, it is different and looks better to me than the G37 coupe. My concern would be visibility.
That little Bentley or Bugatti roadster reminds me of the black one that won the concours a few years back, can't think of the name but it was shaped similarly and had a fin on the roofline to the tail.
Two-tone Maybach looks like they forgot to finish painting it.
Lincoln is failing while Ford is moving forward.
Chrysler 300 is nothing new, it needs more than a refresh and wheels.
And finally the tuner HS250 Lexus is just a laugh, a tuner hybrid, HAHAHAA!

I thought it was odd Maybach would call their car a 'Zeppelin', seeing the fate of the most famous one going down in flames...poor choice in my opinion.

Well there's a solid chance it could have the same fate...so maybe they're just being honest

'Zeppelin' was a name Maybach used in the 1930's, was an ultimate luxury car, just as the Hindenburg was a luxurious way to travel. Pictures in the link.
