2011 BMW 3-Series Coupe And Convertible Refresh-And Your Verdict Is? STUD Or Dud?

2011 BMW 3-Series Coupe And Convertible Refresh-And Your Verdict Is? STUD Or Dud?
Just when you thought all the announcements were made at the 2010 Detroit Auto Show, BMW throws everyone a surprise and refreshes the 3-Series Coupe and Convertible.

New, standard Xenon headlights with eyebrow
LED Angel Eyes
New LED taillights
Refined and widened kidney grille
New, N55 single-turbo motor -- still produces 300-horsepower, 300 lb-ft of torque
Redesigned front/rear bumpers
Redesigned side mirrors
New colors: Deep Sea Blue Metallic, Vermillion Red Metallic, Mineral White Metallic
Modified paddle shifters are now "pull" operated -- "+" on right, "-" on left

It has some great new features and additions but the most important opinion is yours.

Is the refresh a STUD or a DUD?

Looks great. But I'm not switching out until the next body + 2 years. :)

3 series coupe has been stud compared to dud of sedan, but the new enlarged head/rear lights are disproportionate like a 1 series.

not that impressed, I actually like the current front valance of my 335 coupe better, love the other details (led angel eyes and tail lights, rear bumper, etc)

Subtle changes as expected from a refresh. Looks nice. I especially like the rear bumper.

Still not "enough, over all" to make me want one.

Audi's are way nicer looking vehicles inside and out.

maybe... (subjective statement of course). they are still just trumped up VW's though- sucks to admit that doesn't it. i like the looks of the 3 coupe better than the a5- but the interiors of audis are a bit nicer than the bmw in some respects

definitely prefer the a5/s5 cab...though I do favor the hardtop in the 3.

The S5 ended up being a dissapointment for me in the driving dynamics department. Didnt like the steering feel. The steering felt loose and therefore made the car feel heavy. Leaving out the fact that the S5 coupe is what I would want and it was about $10k higher than the 335i coupe. The interior of the S5 felt smaller than the 335i. I just feel more connected to the road in the 335i. I also like the simplicity of the interior in the BMW versus the flashy S5. Christmas lights are only supposed to be up a few months out of the year, not everyday.
