Official: Audi A1 to be offered with roof colour options

Audi confirmed today, that the upcoming A1 will be available with a roof painted in a different colour to the body. This means that Audi will do the same thing that Bmw does with the Mini Cooper, offering plenty of customization programs in order to make your car unique.

The German manufacturer will officially unveil the new A1 in February while the debut will be made in March at the Geneva Motor Show.

I have to agree with you there. Fortunately, we won't have to worry about that stateside. I'm not a huge Mini fan, but I think the cars look good with different-colored roofs largely because it fits the retro aesthetic. Not sure it would work for the A1.
