Smart offering first lease incentive program in the U.S.

Minicar distributor Smart USA is offering its first national lease incentive program that will be made available until Feb. 28 at 77 dealers in 36 states. Smart USA is a unit of Penske Automotive Group Inc.

The program terms include a 36-month lease for $169 a month, $999 down, a $595 acquisition fee and the first month’s payment due at the time of the lease. Financing is provided by from Daimler Financial Services. After having had a 41% sales drop in 2009, Smart USA named a new president earlier this month.

For almost $2,000 down you can have one for $170 a month, LOL!

You cant get a much bettwe equipped and more comfortable Ford Focus for less than that, and it gets pretty close mpgs. Not that I would want a current Focus, just saying.
