AMG planning a high-performance small car
According to the latest reports, it appears that the official Mercedes-Benz tuner, AMG, is considering creating a high-performance small car off the forthcoming MFA platform.

The new MFA platform will be used by the upcoming A-Class and B-Class, but also by three new small Mercedes-Benz models by 2012 but there is a small problem: the new models from the German manufacturer will be front-wheel drive but AMG boss says a front-drive performance car is incompatible with the performance company’s core values.

This will make low budget shoppers more cocky. Not only do they own the cheapest Benz which is not truly what a Benz is all about but it will have the AMG badge on it. "Oh! i own an AMG Benz"... "wow really? that's impressive...o O (Must be expensive)".

It's kind of like an HS-F. "Oh I drive a Lexus now.. it's fast" .. "Wow you have an F-model"
