Zac Efron Criticized For His Drop Top, Is A Convertible NOT Masculine Enough?

Zac Efron Criticized For His Drop Top, Is A Convertible NOT Masculine Enough?
Oh-kay, so Zac Efron has not made some of the best movie masterpieces in his young career but cut him some slack, you have to start somewhere.

Regardless of his questionable acting skills, you have to admit at least he has good taste in vehicular transportation. Currently the owner of an Audi S6, and now an S5 cabriolet, he seems to have a love for Audi.

But, is the convertible a less masculine choice? Celebritycarsblog.com thinks so.

Does that even make sense? Hell, I am pretty sure I would have a convertible if I lived full-time in California.

Are these guys off their rocker or do they have a valid point? Let us know in the comments below...

Celebritycarsblog reports:

"I've always thought Zac Efron was a little too much of a girl and when he chose the Audi S5 Cabrio it sealed the deal. Don't get me wrong, the S5 is an amazing car after all I still have sellers remorse for selling my Audi A5, but what guy in their right mind thinks the cabrio is attractive. It looses all it's masculinity the second you loose the C-pillar..."

nothing wrong with a convertible on a sunny day... but women do love convertibles. guys who intend to have women around buy things that women like. guys who can't understand that probably don't get much...

The S5 drop top is awesome I think. It's one of the best looking cars in its price range and it is quick.

So driving a F430 Spyder is not masculine? or how about a Bentley Azure? Convertibles are made for both men and women. Perhaps the idiot who wrote this piece is thinking about a beetle cab, or something down that line...

Just because women likes to drive convertible doesnt mean convertibles are only for women... Idiot!

Damn you Audi A5 coupe and your damned tilting sunroof for turning Zac Efron into a sissy. I, like, so totally care.

The S5 convertible is a bit more masculine I dont see the problem with it, but honestly ive only seen women driving the A4/S4 convertibles and they do look like a womans car

I think the fact that he wears mascara makes him much more girly than driving the S5.

Wait! So the A5/S5 doesnt come with a moonroof in coupe form? Where did this info come from? I swear I saw an A5 on the highway with a glass roof before.

Oh, and I could care less about what Zac Efron drives but I would trade him my P.O.S. 300C for either one of his Audi's.

Another convertible OK for a man, A Jeeep Wrangler and Land Rover Defender 90. Also, 911 turbo cab.
Not ok:
Porsche Boxster (especially a non "S" version)
Saturn Sky/ Pontiac Solstice

while I would never buy or drive a Miata, I have to disagree that it is 'women only' - it's actually a great drive, especially when you consider the price tag. Disagree? Do some research. While it's that 'cool', it's an enthusiasts car. Ask Car and Driver, the Miata has appeared on their 10 best list more than once.

Barring say July and August here in Vegas, I 'steal' my wife's RHT on a regular basis. I'd love to own a M3 RHT, or a Z4is RHT if I could dig that deep. An S5 soft top, not my top choice (I'd rather an S5 coupe, or if they had made a RHT...), but I'd certain drive one till the wheels fell off it one was handed to me.

What small-penis ego-challenged idiots makes this stuff up anyway?
