Chrysler CEO Sergio Marchionne said that 2010 is “crucial’ for rebuilding consumer confidence. Although he admits that it takes time to accomplish, he thinks that most of the work to restore this confidence should be done this year.

Chrysler emerged from a U.S. government-sponsored Chapter 11 bankruptcy on June 10 under the management control of Fiat, which took a 20% stake in exchange for the technology to build fuel-efficient cars.

Ford doesn't have any future plans for straight 6s. The 4.0T from Australia is being discontinued soon.

I wish CEO's would stop stating the obvious. Hell, if thats what they get paid to do, we should all take turns at their job to get a piece of their salary. WTF is a statement like "2010 is crucial for Chrysler"? No sh*t! The company is in the dumpster right now.
