Nation's Largest Clearing House Tells Members To Stop Auctioning Recalled Toyotas
The largest used-vehicle auto auction association in the United States today recommended that its member auctions temporarily stop selling Toyota cars and trucks that are being recalled because of sticking accelerator pedals.

In addition, several major car-rental companies temporarily have removed the vehicles from their fleets, as fallout from the massive recall spreads.

“The safety of our customers and employees is our utmost priority, and in that regard, the suspension should continue until the issues have been resolved,” the National Auto Auction Association said in a statement. Manheim, the nation's largest auction company, said it is complying with the recommendation of NAAA and immediately halted sales of the recalled Toyota vehicles at its 81 auction sites in the United States and Canada and on its OVE.com electronic sales channel.

Any more news on this?

I think that your coverage of the issue is insufficient.

Of course and I would'nt doubt if Nancy Pelosi is the leader of the pack even though she is'nt a House of Representive. Yep thstone they have to first hit rock bottom and then fortunately they'll shoot straight back to the top!

What the hell are you talking about?

Nancy Pelosi is in the House of Representatives, she is the Speaker of the House and it the Energy and Commerce Committee that is holding the hearings which she is not even a member off.

Try to get even one fact right.

Well kids, I just got back from getting my hairs cut and on the way home I thought it would be a good idea since it's a beautiful day at 70 degrees to stop by the Tustin Auto Center where I leased my Lexus and to check out the Tustin Toyota dealer down the street to see what is up with the recall.

I talked to the manager and he told me they have Camry's for sale. Just not the American ones. He said about 30% of their inventory is all Japanese made Camry's including the gas pedal.

Bet you didn't know that, now did you?

He said Toyota are fixing the problem and the American made Camry's will be back on the lot shortly.

Have a nice day anyway because I am.

From my understanding the recall only affects those cars built in America. Those built in Japan did not suffer from the same issues due to a different supplier.

You have to give some props to Audi having suffered thru this same media disaster and coming out stronger for it.
