Latest PhotoShop Guess Of The Next Gen BMW M5
With the all-new 2011 BMW 5-series unveiled and driven by our very own 001, now we are left twiddling our thumbs saying "what's next?" And, we all know what is in the pipeline.

The founding father of the sport sedan, the M5.

From what sources have collected, we know it should have a twin-turbo V8 motor producing somewhere between 550 and 600-horsepower. Mated to this motor will be a seven speed dual-clutch transmission. Additionally, it will not be coming out as a 2011 model.

Set to go up against the Mercedes-Benz E63, Cadillac CTS-V and the Audi RS6, the next generation M5 will certainly be bringing a lot of ammo to the party...

egmCarTech reports:

"As reported last week, the next-generation BMW M5 will be on a hiatus this year. However, come next year, the M5 will receive significant upgrades that should have the new Cadillac CTS-V running for cover..."

I totally disagree with most of the point of views listed above. The last generation of the 5 Series was horrible...I'd wish that one looked more like this one pictured. The Banglebutt 7 Series before was so horrible. This new 5 Series is the best looking one yet...Not too busy, but it has subtle good looks.

We have yet another Bangle hater and by the way your wrong the current 5 series was the hottest 5 series BMW has ever produced IMO.....you tell me one car out there that looks more sexier than a 550i w/sport package. how can you say "The Banglebutt 7 Series before was so horrible" when it was the best selling 7 series to date. Bangle has done so much for BMW and the auto designing industry. I cant go home and not see either a 5,6,or 7er I see at least 1 of each on the way to work or coming home and I dont live in a ritzy area.

The new 5 series reminds me of the 97-03 model where it was aggressive subtle and it has a little sexiness to it. I like the new 5 but i think BMW played it very safe and they should have being that the current 5er has such out of the box extreme styling. I think Bangle was the best thing that happened to BMW and he has made some of the best selling BMW's to date. as far as this article goes I cant base a conclusion on a PHOTO-CHOP and I cant even say I like this PHOTO-CHOP.

I totally disagree with your disagreement with the point of views listed above...the current 5 series was definitely a car designed with a certain amount of "machismo". You certainly can't say that about this car. I guess some people are more drawn to the soft organic tones while others like cars with style and some edge to it. Yeah, Bangle might have went a little too far with the 7 series...but not all his designs were bad. The 5 series was probably his best work.
