Toyota to resume production of recalled models next week

In a conference call made recently, Jim Lentz, president of Toyota Motor Sales U.S.A., said that production of the eight models included in the latest safety recall will resume on Feb. 8.

As scheduled, the production of these eight models at five North American factories was stopped from Feb. 1-5 as Toyota outlined plans to suspend delivery of the models targeted in a Jan. 21 recall.
