To qualify for Japan’s C4C program, new vehicles must meet the 2010 Japan fuel economy standard of >15 kilometers per liter ~ 35.5 mpg, making 87 percent of Japanese-made vehicles on sale in their home market eligible.
Other than the 2010 Ford Fusion Hybrid name another American car that can meet such criteria 1UAW.

LOL. but if you go to any "auto recycling center" aka JUNKyards, and count the numbers of relatively late model cars, you will find far more detroit junk than you will toyotas.

and most of those will be due to crashes, rather than BURNED OUT engines and trannies.
