Subaru Impreza XV Crossover announced for Geneva Motor Show
Subaru announced today the Impreza XV, a new crossover based on the iconic Impreza 5-door model set to make its official debut in March at the Geneva Motor Show.

According to the manufacturer, the new car is will feature a new front grille and wheel arch, and specially equipped roof rails and a roof spoiler in order to accentuate the uniqueness of this special Impreza version. Under the hood it will carry the 2.0-litre Horizontally-opposed petrol engine and the turbo BOXER DIESEL engine comply with European EURO 5 regulations.

I don't see where it varies from the regular impreza hatch other than having standard roof rack and SUV wheel arches. Gets a big YAWN from me, people would rather hear more about the 2 door coupe

Sounds like they are targeting the 2008 and older Forester fans. I consider my wife's 2005 Forester a wagon. I DO NOT want a SUV, so this interests me when it comes time to replace the wife's car.

Edit: This is nothing more than the USDM Outback Sport. I had hopes and dreams of this car w/the WRX motor and a manual trans. :(
