Bmw on road to recovery, predicts modest rise in car sales
BMW AG predicts that in 2010, it will have a modest rise in car sales. It also expects a 2009 pretax profit despite the global economic crisis.

Some analysts say that the sales figures for 2009 are indeed welcome and they’re optimistic about BMW’s targets; however, others contend that there will still be pressure on BMW’s profit margins and outlook as the car sector remains at risk due to the ongoing economic crisis.

Modest increase? It may take a while to replace the awful Bangle designed cars. Did you hear that BMW is doing away with flame surfacing? BMW was retarded for handing over the reigns of design over to Bangle. I've yet to see him design/create and attractive looking car. And while were at it. The current BMW’s are lacking in technology that actually has anything to do with the drive. NO LSD, NO Dual Clutch transmission for the normal 3-series, AWD systems without torque vectoring. BMW has gone to crap. The only BMW's worth considering are the "M" models. The rest are MILF cars.

Bangle did a great job on the E46 3 Series. And the 6 Series. And both X5s. Oh yea, I love the M5. I almost forgot, the E65 7 Series is stunning with proper wheels such as the Alpina version. The E90 3 Series are unequivocal success in every way. Other than those models I suppose you have a point lexsux.

I like how Mitsubishi went with performance over "interior luxury"

BMW cars are excelent and the numbers in the last compare of the new 5 against the current E show good trend in the technology. The problem with BM is not the technology if not, Ugly cars with super high prices.
