2010 Chicago Auto Show: EXCLUSIVE - First Real-Life Shots Of The 2011 Infiniti M Nav Screens
The Spies have something else the other guys most definitely overlooked...

With Infiniti's launch of the all-new M comes a windfall of new technology and advancements for the company. One of which, that clearly needed to be addressed, was the navigation unit that Infiniti had previously used.

So, when we had a chance to explore the M a bit more thoroughly, we immediately knew we had to show YOU guys the new interface. And there is good news, there are plenty of different screens to display content and also customize your Infiniti to your specifications.

Examples include: weather info, traffic info, tire pressure monitoring, maintenance info and a handful of car settings.

With all of the new impressive navigation systems on the market, does this meet your grade?

Let us know in the comments below.

Remember, spy before you buy!

Honestly, I think it looks kinda dated.

If companies can stuff awesome graphics and functionality into a phone, what the hell is stopping them in a car?

There are many times when I just can't live without my Nav. It has become so useful in so many ways, and I hope they don't let the GPS fail, fall towards the earth, and burn into pieces. (Of course, our president has probably realized how important the GPS is for the military and commercial flights).

I never intended to have a Nav in the first place, but the one that came factory-installed in my 1998 LS 400 made me so dependent on Navigation systems that I always feel lost without one.

I agree with you, I swore I'd never have a car with Nav, and yet here I am on my 4th car and I'll never buy a car again without Nav.

yes all Infiniti's are touch screen with nav. And those are kinda bad pics of the wood, they are using a really nice gloss finished maple now.. probably the same as what is in the FX's

That is one of the best and easy to use Navigation there. Looks very simple and easy instructions/words are used. Good work Infiniti.

The last generation Infiniti's screen resolutions were hurendous they had better improve. This system does nothing new than my 09 TL does not, Infinit is behind when it comes to navigations, especially in comparison to Acura one of the industry leaders and the first to debut traffic and weather @ the same time in their units. From what I hear Infiniti's voice recogniztion sucks too. Some dumb ass will respond to this with yeh atleast they have V8 models and RWD drive though. WTF has that done for them still can't surpass Acura in sales and their engines sound like rice cookers because they lack refinement.Nissan is on life support called Renault.
