Breaking: Honda working on a high-performance hybrid sports car

According to Japan’s Best Car magazine, it appears that the Honda CR-Z is not the only hybrid sports car from the Japanese manufacturer. Best Car says that the manufacturer is working on a new hybrid sports car that will carry a 2.5 or a 3.0-liter petrol engine as well as an electric motor capable to act as a generator during braking or coasting and to capture kinetic energy that recharges the hydride battery pack.

si civics have gone by that more than 20 years ago, and s2k hit the 5 secconds mark long ago as well, the nsx hit the 4 second mark a while ago as well. I wouldnt doubt this thing is based on a s2k if they release it right at 28k it would be a steal, the kind of car I could use to replace my current daily driven rsx type-s

The CRX was a good little car. It was light and pretty quick during it`s era in motoring. I hope this hybrid rendition is at least 5 seconds 0-60. Otherwise what`s the point?.

Heck just bring back the NSX project already!
