Every time I see those lights I smile and think of Christmas lights.

yeah and when one side is broken, it looks like the car is blinking at me. Interestingly, despite my criticism of Audi's initial reliability, I really like the LEDs not only because of the holiday spirits they seem to have.

I wish BMW continued the eyebrow turning indicators in the headlight cluster (E65/E66).

are you sure the turn signal wasn't on?

Yes I'm sure. The LEDs that weren't broken weren't flashing... They only flash on many cameras, but I saw the broken LEDs in person. I'm bringing up the point because I saw quite a few Audis with the problem, yet I can't seem to find any allegations on the Internet... except from Joe_Limon.

The cars with the problem were a brand new Q5, an A4, and an A5.

I concur, I've seen an a4 with the drivers side daytime running led's out.

Yeah, when 340 hp is just too "pedestrian" for ya. I see this sort of thing as just a higher level of Tuner Kids who buy a $20,000 Honda and then add $20,000 of mods to it over time. A case of needing to elevate one's self in the eyes of other? To express one's "individuality", like adding $15K of chrome and personalization chachkas to a Harley? Whatever floats your boat. Blessings on your quest for happiness ;-)

Ignore the above. Wrong forum for that sort of thought.

When 340 hp isnt enough it is at that very moment you realize for the money you should have gotten an M3.

It may not be a bad option though if you want a high-powered AWD sedan which should still get decent mileage when driven, likely rarely, in a calm fashion. Be aware of the unique warranty coverage. Unlike the tuner kids blowing their warranties on brand new cars, you can buy tuned Stasis cars directly from participating Audi dealers and keep the warranty.

I had a Stasis stage three in an older A4 Audi a few years back. 315 hp from the 1.8 liter turbo, it was so well integrated and easy to live with. Very impressive.

It's hard to ignore that much power and AWD capability. And if I give them the benefit of the doubt when it comes to reliability then this is certainly an alternative to the M3, however cost and performance will be the deciding factor.

Aren't there independent tests that already proved for the S4 to have about 400hp?...So this tune then must add like 10hp.

- No

Don't listen to LexSucks. There is at least one independent test that suggests the a stock 2010 S4 has around 400 hp at the crank. You probably remember a post here about that very subject. A manufacturer can claim any amount of horsepower it wants under the actual amount. I've never had a car tuned by a tuner and I don't know how they conduct their business, but a reputable one would dyno the car in stock form and base their output increases on those numbers, not the manufacturer claims.

I'm with Steve on wishing people who tune already-fast cars good luck on finding happiness.

I'm wrong... But I should have known better with the engine being the forced induction type. I'm impressed. An ECU Tune, Exhaust, and high flow intake will probably get another 50hp. I'm impressed.

414 hp Audi S4? Expect it to be priced about $5,000 more than an M3. whenever an Audi has the same power as the competing BMW or MB, it always cost several thousand dollars more. Audis are always overpriced.

You gotta pay to play! S4 is a monster.
