SPIED: BMW's 5-Series Wagon Proves It Isn't Dead Yet
Just when you thought the hubbub over the all-new 2011 BMW 5-Series -- dubbed F10 -- was over, this happens.

With mounting speculation over whether or not a 5-Series wagon would appear with the newly launched 5GT roaming the streets, this spy video from Auto Motor Und Sport puts that theory to rest.

Would you rather see this in the States over the 5GT?

Let us know in the comments below...

Bimmerpost reports:

"The F10 sedan is due to bow its head in just another few weeks at the Geneva autshow and this F11 Wagon will then appear at the Paris autoshow later in the year, with availablity at dealerships in the summer/fall of 2010. Until then, enjoy some more spy video..."

funny, as if the moment I am leaving this comment, Agent001 doesn't get a boost for his comment, but Agent00R does for agreeing.

I'm really trying hard to understand how you think a wagon is better than a sadan. What is better looking about it? The flat rear end like a van has?

Maybe they offer a choice to buy directly from Germany could be more expensive I don't know but if you like this model this is a possible choice in case they don't sale this in USA.

@SHOWTIME

Trying hard to understand something you don't understand makes it harder to obtain clarity. It's okay to not understand the Touring or Estate or Avant or Station Wagon (Select one) vehicle if it does not appeal to you. Understand?

Better looking? I would not go that far. However, I prefer how it sits and have found I'm able to corner these a tad faster than their sedan simblings as I have one and always feel more confident approaching and coming out of corners when there's a need for a rush.

I quite like the wagon versions of certain manufactures (BMW being one) simply that model is always unique in comparison to their commonly available siblings. Also perfect for carrying additional stuff while maintaining better handling that similar size vehicles with the same carrying capacity which are higher and folks tend to drive them just like they are cars and tend to find themselves packing when attempting to maneuver quickly and quickly finding out that the thing is not as agile as the lower vehicle they've driven for years.

To each is own. Thanks for helping me understand that it's okay for others to not understand. Understood?

Not intended to offend you in any fashion. All that stuff above just came out as is. Have a Super Weekend.

The wagon is far more functionable, although the sedan looks better, I would take the Wagon for it's capability.

Sad it probably won't make it Stateside. I would stand in line to test drive this wagon and would definitely own it if the performance is there. I won't even look at the 5GT much less drive it.

Until you own a BMW wagon (on my third) it may be difficult to understand how great a car it is...solid performance, great utility,
premium quality, stylish good looks, etc etc. I have owned many sports cars, sedans, SUV's, muscle cars in my lifetime...but if I could only own one car it would be a BMW wagon.

Wagons just law that cool factor for me sorry guys I am less than forty years old. I can see why it is attractive for many but I will take my BMW in sedan or cope guise.
