Report: Chrysler will drop Sebring name
A new report details how Chrysler responds to criticism about the Chrysler Sebring, which was described to have a coarse engine, a low-quality interior and dated exterior design. To resolve the matter, Chrysler decided to simply kill the Sebring name.

The car won’t be canceled but it will be given a makeover to keep it fresh while we all wait for its replacement sometime in 2013. The updated car, which is expected in the fourth quarter, will have a fuel-efficient range of Multiair engines as well as a dual clutch transmission.

A make over will not give this car a different image. It needs a redesign badly.
