This Car Is A Death Trap!

This Car Is A Death Trap!
The Truth About Cars Reports:

"For those of you who’ve read my work, you’ll know I’m no stranger to controversy. So, this next piece, will be a little, well, dark, shall we say? In the above picture, what do you see? It’s a classic VW Beetle. Nothing bad there. But this particular Beetle has caused a huge amount of grief stateside, followed by controversy. It was hidden under a black cloth and when it came off what people saw at the National Museum of Crime and Punishment was a 1968 VW Beetle, exactly like what you’re seeing. But it wasn’t so much what it was as WHO it was.The Washington Post reports that this hitlerrite vehicle belonged to another serial killer: Ted Bundy. What you see here isn’t a cheap reliable car, but the death sentence for many people. And speaking of sentence, the same car became Bundy’s undoing: A routine stop of the Volkswagen that looked out of place in a suburb of Salt Lake City, led to Bundy’s arrest.

This is not where the story ends, and there are more cars, enough to fill a museum: After his trial and conviction, Bundy escaped and stole a Cadillac. Again, a traffic stop led to his arrest: He was weaving in and out of the lane and was pulled over. Back in custody, he escaped again. He stole a MG, bad choice: The MG broke down..."

So this car is unsafe because it belonged to Ted Bundy? Oh please...

I read the title and instantly said "Is this a '00R article?" Thin on substance. Positioned in such a way as to incite reactions and flame wars. Sadly, I was correct, which tells me that '00R is getting all to pedictable :-( And not in a good way, either.

Recommended Agent00R Recovery Stragety:

(1) Lay low. Temporarily avoid posting to AutoSpies.

(2) Do legitimate research. Invest your time and effort to unearth new articles of interest. Ones with substance. Ones about cars.

(3) Wow AutoSpies readers with stuff that could pass for genuine journalism. Don't be too hard on yourself for not being perfect. But do aim for at least being "good."

(4) If it's a slow week in the car world, consider posting articles of pretty women, placed within the context of cars. Booth Babes at car shows. Umbrealla Girls at races. AutoSpies' males readers are suckers for pretty women, even if only remotely connected to cars. I speculate if 'Spies had a Bikini Girl of The Day, without a car in sight, you'd get little or no push-back!

(5) When you post articles, let the content speak for itself, rather than trying to insite discord. A subject of "'Spies for The Eyes" is preferred over "Who is the prettier Spy Girl?". And *much* preferred over "Can Spy Becky kick Ginger's Butt in The Hots Department?"

(6) If you can't come up with the goods, please, please, PLEASE go back and re-read #1. There is a saying in the Corporate World that goes "Better to remain silent and be thought an idiot, than to speak and remove all doubt." I would not be so presumptuous as to suggest this applies to '00R, but it's a good tidbit to keep in your back pocket.

Cheers, and good luck. I look forward to a successful recovery of Agent00R!

Better yet, 00R should call a Tiger Woods type press conference and apologize to the world..
