2010 Honda CR-Z goes on sale in Japan

Honda Motor Co.’s sporty CR-Z model was successfully launched last Thursday in the Roppongi Hills district of Tokyo. The CR-Z is Honda’s second low-cost hybrid car that it had launched that’s aimed at complying with stricter environmental regulations as well as be able to meet expanding sales globally.

Unlike Toyota Motor Corp., Honda has chosen a one-motor structure for its gasoline-electric cars. Honda’s rivals are using two motors to get greater mileage. This car will arrive at showrooms in North America and Europe as early as this summer.

yup. even with piss injections downstream of combustion, they still ALL EMIT cancer causing particulates.

at a medical research lecture i recently attended, there were slides showing the HORROR EFFECTS of cigarette smoke on lung tissue.

diesel particulates are EVEN WORSE.

port cities, with high diesel exhaust densities, have significantly higher cancer death rates in than in any other urban areas.

TDI junk.. they have to compare a small TDI with a mid-sized Prius, they;'re scared to compare a normal Gasoline/petrol equirvalent sized VW to a Prius, because they know it'll get trounced..

TDI's have proven to be pretty good so I don't see why we should hate on them. Hybrid is just another alternative to rival the diesel motors.

Didn't realize it was out already. But it only makes me miss the old CRX. I'd pay some good money for a time capsule 1991 CRX Si in yellow.
