2010 Geneva Motor Show: Aston Martin Cygnet Concept
Aston Martin Cygnet was unveiled today at the Geneva Motor Show and promises to take the small car segment to another level.

The new Cygnet was designed in order to offer Aston Martin customers a greater degree of freedom without compromising the levels of design, quality and innovation that embody the brand. According to Aston Martin Chief Executive, Dr Ulrich Bez, the baby-Aston how we like to call it, will bring “intelligence, innovation and artistry to the small car market.

If they give it a different brand, then fine. I believe that selling an economy vehicle under the Aston Martin brand would be like Mercedes selling Smart cars under the Mercedes brand -- It will cheapen the brand in the lucrative, prestige and premium sensitive North American market.

Except for the big gap in front of the hood, I like the car. It's a cool car to have beside your DB9 or Rapide for running errands to a low-end town although all Aston Martins already have the weird appeal that prevents people from wanting to vandalize the cars - they have presence yet they blend beautifully to just about any environment.
