Yup and just in case you don't believe FORD is number one ...
Ford recalled 14.6 million cars between 2005 and 2000 for ohhh the minor issue of cruise control setting your car on fire.(A little heat never hurt anybody) . We cant help but say we are number one in Recalls.:)
Ofcourse the Toyota lovin NHTSA insisted on a recall and of course FORD had to fight it tooth and nail. Unfortunately Ford lost and had to recall but hey they prevented the NHTSA from getting to the internal data and blocked the recall for as long as it could.( Now don't you mention exploding airbags in the Ford 150, they are cushions damn you, so you can sleep better)

So yeah buy our products !!! :) and remember every FORD comes with a free bag of marshmallows, so if it catches fire, its a nice time to sit around it and roast marshmallows and bond as a family.
And should it Fail On the Road or Ditch remember its good to support your local economy, so spread the love by calling your local Towing service...:)

Ford only beats GM if you include Volvo, but don't include Saturn, Pontiac, Saab and Hummer. GM's core beats Ford's core. GM's full lineup beats Ford's full lineup. Am I wrong?

GM doesn't own Saturn, Pontiac, SAAB, or Hummer. They are owned by Motors Liquidation company. Ford currently owns Volvo and is in the process of selling off the division (the sale is not complete at this time). Ford isn't 'playing' with anything, you guys just aren't reading things clearly.

Even with GM's old brands Ford still managed to scrape by more sales.

They beat GM buy only 344 cars, in the auto world that would translate into a tie.

Regardless of the numbers, one can sense a revival at Ford with their car line up, N America or Europe. More importantly, there's commonality between their European models and those in N America which does translate into true financial gains. All of the so-called financial gain from using the same core chassis talk in the 80s and 90s were whitewashed after all of the tinkering done to the N America cars. Power to Ford and I think it's great that car consumers are given more good cars to choose from.

I think the numbers don't lie. Also it's not surprising since Ford never took any bailout money. I think they have nice products now. Also their global approach is,I think a smart move.
