Development of Spyker’s D8/D12 Peking to Paris SUV back on track
If you thought that after buying Saab, Spyker will forget about this project it’s time to think again, as CEO Victor Muller confirmed the fact that the company is working had on the Porsche Cayenne Competitor dubbed D12 Peking to Paris.

For those who don’t know the D12 Peking to Paris Concept was launched back in 2006 at the Geneva Motor Show but the project had been put on hold in November, when the fight to buy Saab began. Still, Muller said in an interview at the Geneva Motor Show, that the project will not be accelerated due to the facilities, parts and technology it has at its disposal after Saab was bought.

I bet they looked at the BMW X6 and figured that if the X6 can be accepted, then maybe the D8/D12 has a good chance in the luxury niche market.

suv? where is the utility, is Peking to Paris an off road race? If so this vehicle would never make it in stock trim, the race version will be a very different expensive vehicle, I could race my Honda Civic there too if I spend a few hundred thousand on the suspension. I wish these races only allowed vehicles off the showroom to race, that would breed a very different car. And this car is also ugly.
