Infiniti to open regional faciltiy in Hotlanta

Today, Infiniti announced plans to open a fourth regional office to support Infiniti retailers in the southeast area of the United States. Expected to be operational this summer, the new office will be located in Atlanta.

The Infiniti South Regional office -- which joins those already operational in the West, Central and East areas of the country -- will allow an increased level of support for Infiniti retailers as sales volumes and units in operation continue to increase.

"Infiniti's sales in the past three years have increased dramatically, and with the all-new G35 sedan that will be in dealerships later this year, as well as other new products on the way, our momentum is going to continue," said Mark Igo, vice president and general manager of Infiniti. "The new Infiniti South Region office will allow us to be more efficient in meeting the needs of our retailers and Infiniti owners as we continue our efforts to provide industry leading customer satisfaction in sales and service."

Staffing for the new office will be announced later this year.

was a financial one that I have heard rumors that other companies may follow, LA has become too expensive and why waste $800K a month in rent when you can get a bigger building closer to your plant for a purchace price of $2 million. Makes plenty of sense to me. Atlanta is the LA of the south but with less expense. California is pricing itself out of the business market for many. Nissan is not closing their design studios there. Just corporate stuff.
