SPIED: BMW's F10 M5 Reveals A Little More Skin
Bimmerpost reports:
"The F10 M5 seen currently in winter testing has shed some of its front end camouflage to reveal more of the M5 than recently seen. If you look closely, you can make out the lower front fascia design behind the remaining black tape, which appears to cover the entire front bumper. Other external parts may yet remain preproduction version -- the final hood will likely see a power bulge (a signature ///M feature), the fenders may yet be widened, the mirrors become sleeker, and the wheels will certainly be larger and a sportier design..."

I hope thats still heavy camo. Im going to be disappointed if the new M5 isnt more aggressive than what I can see. First they ditch the V10 and then they tone down the looks? (sighs) Im still excited though! I love BMW. If it wasnt for them, other luxury car companies could sleep at night.
(My fingers are still crossed for the final look of this vehicle)

Losing the V10 is not the end of the world for the M5.

Not for its typical buyer, but Yes for purist and track-goer.
That said, the latter won't fling a 4300 lb pork on track anyway..... My bad.

@00R: I know its not the end of the world for the M5 but there is something about knowing there is ten cylinders underneath your hood. That and also letting that info roll off your tongue when someone asks. I know I should be shot for mentioning this in the same paragraph but I liked when I first bought my 300C and everyone would ask and I replied, "Yes, its got the Hemi".

The new V8 TT will wipeout the V10 any day on the track.....the new M5 will be the best mean machine in the history of BMW..forseen. Talking about the exterior but it seems "to me"...bland..not bad but bland for a an M5.

Yes I know and for me it looks bland....but is not correct to till we see the final product because that looks nice to me....so lets wait till it comes without camo.
