Honda recalling over 21,000 Odyssey minivans
A recall for 2005 Honda Odyssey Touring minivans equipped with a power-operated rear liftgate has been announced. The safety recall notice was posted at the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) official site by the American division of Honda.

The recall affects 21,776 vehicles. According to the report, the tailgate strut could fail, resulting in the power liftgate closing unexpectedly, which lead to injuries if a person is within the liftgate’s closing path. Currently, Honda is conducting a safety improvement campaign for certain model year 2005 Odyssey Touring vehicles equipped with power operated rear liftgate.

I hate when people act like high students gossiping when it comes to information: "I heard this, Someone told me, or I seen somewhere..." How did you forget where you got your info from Badge? Now I think the dude in the blue Prius may be full of sh*t because I read the article on LEFTLANENEWS, that the guy said he was holding the brakes down and it started smelling funny and stopped working. Then he said he dropped his phone because he couldnt concentrate on talking to 911 and driving that fast but when the officers caught up with him @ 90MPH, he was able to look at them signal what to do (which was acivate the emergency brakes). They say the combination of emergency brakes and regular brakes plus the slope in the highwas stopped the car without incident. B*LLSH*T. How could he not talk on the phone at that speed but he can look over at another car? How did the brakes give out but in the end they helped stop the vehicle? Yea right! People need to stop milking this Toyota stuff. I said all that to say this Badge, we know (well most of us) that this guy is full of it but dont try to discredit the guy anymore with hear say or rumors. He already looks like a jackass to those who see through his story. Let it play out on its own.

If there's anything in the media negative about a Japanese company, it's the US Gov't attempt to bash that company. Great huu, keep on stressing out with that thinking.
