Toyota prepared to delay the launch of forthcoming models
For the first half of 2010, Toyota has several models that it plans to launch in Europe. However, with the heat that it has been getting due to the massive recalls.

Toyota has said that it is willing to delay their launch if it cannot be completely satisfied with quality and safety standards. These vehicles — which include the upcoming Auris, Auris HSD and RAV4 models – will undergo stringent quality testing. Toyota’s strict new quality control guidelines were introduced amid the crisis due to recalls from sticking accelerator pedals. In an interview with the Sunday Telegraph, Tadashi Arashima, the chief executive of Toyota Motor Europe, asserted that the new models have absolutely no defects.

Actually recalls extend to European Toyota models that used Japanese labor and parts. But just ignore that like you have done several times now.
