Once again, our friend Chris Harris has gone out and done something that conjures up one feeling from this particular writer; excruciating jealousy!

In the greatest grand touring battle of them all, Harris drives the tops to determine who is the best of the bunch and for what reason.

In the end, what Harris is seeking out is the perfect GT car. One that thoroughly excites him, yet manages to be a proper touring vehicle that can provide some comfort on a long-distance cruise.

Watch part I and II below.

Do you agree with Harris' conclusion?

I think it is safe to say that the Lexus is not quite a GT car.

Although it would make for an interesting comparo...

Umm...NO! I respect the LF-A but the 599 will be faster from mid to high end....AND....how about the LF-A isn't even in production yet? So why test it?

You just nailed your own coffin.

If the LF-A weighs 3,200 pounds and is "more track-oriented" it is only a competitor to the 599 in price point.

The 550/575/599 have always been GT cars, albeit, you can take them to the track because it is a more performance-oriented GT.

LF-A is not a GT car, and the Aston is an awesome all round car with perhaps the best looks but look at the way the Bentley leaves the Ferrari behind in the beginning, of course cuz of 4WD in the wet but damn thats fast for a car weighing more than most SUVs!

I like the Aston. Wouldn't mind having any of them though.
