Lexus IS and BMW 3-series win midsize crash tests

If the source is the IIHS, the highest for midsize sedans would be the Saab 9-3 and the Subaru Legacy.Those are the only midsize vehicles that got a perfect score for frontal, side,and rear impact.(the other "gold" winners were the Honda Civic and the Ford Five-Hundred) The BMW 3 series and Lexus are not the highest ever tested, but possibly the highest very recently tested.
