Chinese Study Indicates over 73% Will No Longer Consider Toyota Or Honda Cars!
For the first time in years, Toyota dropped from the top 10 list of the best-selling cars in the Chinese market last month amid the Japanese carmaker's recall crisis, China Daily reported Tuesday.

FAW Toyota, the Japanese automaker's joint venture in China's FAW Group, disappeared from the Top 10 sales list in February, according to data released by China Passenger Car Association.

Toyota China recently said its total sales in February rose 30% from a year earlier to 45,400 vehicles, continuing a free fall from 72,000 units sold in January when the recall-plagued brand had the first drop of 16.3% from last December.

A survey by Chinese website sina.com shows that 73.6% of 258,000 online respondents said they would not buy Toyota or Honda branded cars after the recalls, with only 16.4% saying Japanese cars are still their favorite choices.

So, 258,000 out of 1,325,639,982+ (2008 figures) people in China took the online survey and 73% say they would no longer consider a Toyota. Hmmm.. interesting post 009.

lol! You apparently don't understand sample sizes, and how a 258,000 base sample size is really accurate.

Yeah, its a good sample at that....2% is really good.

That is so Chinese. In a similar manner, you tell them mer has a defective window regulator. Survey analyses conducted on a sample size of 1,266,666,666 Chinese drivers on the basis of their current transportations and future vehicle purchase decision would reveal a result significant enough to conclude that they will begin banning mer in China and just manufacture them for export purposes.

The Chinese hate the Japanese and vice e versa, I'm surprised to find out that they were ever on the top 10 list. Not only that, China is communist, and they have plenty of home-grown companies to choose from (which is odd that Buick does so well there).

Buick does well because one of China's emperors drove one sometimes in the past.

Nope, I know what I read. You wrote that McDondals/Hooters/KFC is premium in China, while Chipotle and Starbucks is premium here. Maybe you are having writing problems if that isn't what you meant?
