C-Class Spy Photos Emerge
It seems like just yesterday the world was introduced to the completely redesigned Mercedes C-Class, but already the model’s approaching its mid-life refreshening. Thanks to Car Advice, we’ve got some hints as to what we can expect, with notable changes including rennovated front and rear bumpers, a tweaked bonnet, new headlights and a heightened grille.

Under the hood there’ll likely be a few enhancements as well, which one would have to assume will be aimed at making the already efficient model even more economical to operate

They need to "refresh" the powerplants. The C350 gets its butt handed to it by the BMW 335. All while costing the same (and same MPG). MB and Audi always seem to offer the weakest engines. They expect people to pay a premium for thier cars, while thier engines offer power levels found in cars that cost $25k. And the interiors look cheap and in need of a materials upgrade.

MB C-Class = Harmless MILF car.

There are other things than performance which people are willing to pay money for. The badge, safety, fulfilling an emotional need etc. Performance is not everything. That said, the C350 is a fast car and so is the A4 V6. Who cares if they're not as blisteringly fast as the 335i? The C-Class has historically never targeted the 3er in terms of driving dynamics and performance. Both cars are in the same class but appeal and are targeted at completely different buyer demographics with different wants and needs.

I hope they improve the interior as well.

You think the C-class interior is a nice one? I know you used to work for Mercedes but you can't deny that it borders on the side of cheap.

I wonder if they are going to put the stratified direct injection engine under the bonnet?
