Bmw posted a better-than-expected 2009 profit
Bmw has just announced that its cost-cutting measures begun to gain traction as the Bavarian manufacturer posted a better-than-expected 2009 profit despite the fact that the production was lower.

According to Bmw, its profit rose 18 percent to 413 million euros ($560.4 million), which means that the 253 million euros forecast by analysts was just wrong data.

I'm not surprised. they've been cost cutting everything except the actual cost of the vehicles. I'm not sure how thats a good thing for the consumer? Good for BMW yes, not good for the folks who overpay for thier vehicles.
