No gee I wonder who you support "AudiRules". I don't think Audi rules at all. BMW and Mercedes are still the better premium brands no questions asked. If you want to start bashing MB i can start bashing Audi eventhough I do like some of their models. Sure Mercedes are coming out with a lot of models but they can afford to. Their 3 stars will always be known as a luxury brand who designs great cars. That goes for BMW as well. Audi... hmm what have they done? the new RS4 is sweet but the those audi interiors gotta change. The previous gen. compared to the current gen. a4 the interior is still the same! how could you call it another GENERATION when only the exteriors changed? lol.

By the way the CLE or C-class picture above is very nice. It has cues from the S-class & CLS to my eyes.

Conclusion: Audi's i still like don't get me wrong. I'm just stepping up to back up MB too.

Yes the car looks sweet, not like a c-class look, but regardless MB doesn't have quality any more, anyone who buy these cars are just going on MB history. Let us all remeber that they share almost everything with chrysler. Also how can Mercedes be the better premium brands no questions asked. You put a little more wood and a LCD screen in the car and it still looks bland. And though they have powerful engines (thanks to AMG) MB's handling is comparable to a fire truck, and depending on the "class" some look super cheesy- not euro at all, I couldn't say that for any of the AUDI models. Other then the 55's (AMG) all MB and some Maybauch are 2x the crap for 3x the price, so any one who has one, gets laughed at because they just got stuck in the tail pipe.

Why MB is expanding it's line-up sooo much.
Yeah correct,many r pretty Useless.
After this much drama from MB, one can expect and name this model anyway.
For example:Many of u have learnt chemistry right.
U can make many new elemnets from meth,eth,prop,but,pent...etc

SAME CASE WITH MB

C----->C Class,CL,CLE,CLK

According to this pic we can predict it's name as the UPCOMING C CLass,CLE,CLK "SEDAN"(We can predict),There was a model in early 90's 190E Therefore we can predict this new car to be THE Upcoming 190E or 200E.anything anything

HONESTLY, So long line-up with many useless models.

I am not bashing MB but they r on the wrong path.

Take an example:When BMW will design it's new 7 Series or Audi it's A8,there 100% attention will be on it.
UNLIKE the MB THE SUPREMO (i don't think so)
They will be unable to give their 100% on an individual car, because there focus will be divided on similar models Like S 50% and CLS another 50%.E class 50%,CLE 50%.
Or even if they want to give they can't because they want to save attention/cues for the another similar model.

THATSWHY U CAN SEE THEIR NEW FLAGSHIP S CLASS LACK A LOT IN DESIGN.nO WOW FACTOR,nO EYE-CATHCY,NO SLEEKNESS,PRETTY BLAND AND BULKY...ETC
AND ALSO VERY NEAR AND SIMILAR TO THE CLS.

IF THIS CONTINEOUS I CAN'T SEE MB'S BRIGHT FUTURE,AND THEY WILL CONTINEOUE WITH THEIR PROBLEMS,LIKE SALES,QUALITY AND MOSTLY IMAGE AND REPUTATION.

That's because they don't know dittally about a real car. That is the most common name, you get sales on the MB History. Europes aren't even buying Benz like they use to. And when they did they are used as TAXIS. Wow you work for MB, IF I'm the bookread expert, you must be that dude who made his way up from sweeping the show room floor. Wonder why you are so passionate, about the car. If you look at the same car everyday eventually you will grow to like it. Love the VW, remember the affliates AUDI, Porshe, Bentley, Lambo, Buggati. MB--Chrysler (let us compare)--and I could have sworn that the old C's have 15-20% bin Dymler parts. Happy you work for company that still produces crap--I know you get payed well for working the dream, but that is all it really is (so you keep dreaming)...one day it might come true. Lets really compare this dying bread to all the other comp---lets really look at sales figures. Thats whay there are so many class and cars, to compete with the few of other luxuary line ups from the comp. DREAM, DREAM<DREAM....DREEEEEAAM.

Glad you are posting your resume for me. You worked for Chrysler, again WOW. Who cares what you bought, I'm also hard working and younger then you are (if you couldn't tell) and still was able to buy a house and 06 A6, are you going to give me bells and whistles. Get off my grammar and stick to the facts. Please, stop side stepping. If you are going to comment on what I write, comment on it all. MB shares some bin parts from Chrysler? "YES". Does Benz have any handling? "Hell No". Does the car look good, "Yes"? Would I refinance my house for an E55 Wagon? "Thought about it considerably". Remeber we are all car lovers, that is why we are here. But, back to the facts. Check the sales in Europe, Audi, top European seller last year, ' and I think it was on this very site, that displayed that', Benz are getting beat out period. C-class are cabs because they are cheap, not just because it’s a work horse, a caprice is a work horse in America but you don't call it Luxury 'dork'. And seriously how much do you really know about brands, come on you drive a BENZ. LOL.

P.S. I also am more passionate about other cars then the brand I drive, the difference is the majority of my cars fall under the "VW" umbrella.
Thanks for the grammar check, now that I spell checked, what do you got. BUGATTI!!!!!

You guys are cracking me up!! You all are talking about this and that with MB and BMW and Lexus Blah blah blah....this blog is about this CLE/C-Class that is pictured above. And FOR ALL OF YOU ALL OUT THERE, BMW, MB, Audi and Lexus have all been on sales increases....So I don't think any of them are on any kind of wrong path at the moment.
Back to the car...It actually looks in the rear to me like the E-Class they spied a while back...so could this have been an interpretation of the next E-Class? Guess we will just have to wait and see...

Yes, the 300C uses the E-class platform and obviously some small bits and pieces of the car was taken from MB.

Seriously Audi is so overrated. Yeah its gotten better, but who wants an expensive VW, come on lets think. The styling is all VW throughout it, it's so under powered if you don't have like an S4, and honestly Audi are the people who made the A4 with the slowest 1.8T I have ever driven in my life. So, if you're a girl and can't afford a dope car like a benz or a beemer or even a lexus, then stick to your Audi and have fun when "the chrysler" and its friends smoke you.

I reckon the photos of this Merc C or CLE look great. But as a lot of you pointed out, Merc have so many models now it's hard to keep up - and we don't even get all of them in Australia.

Secondly, regarding the Audi vs. BMW vs. Merc. I used to own an Audi A4, and I thought the car was great for what it was - good value (cheaper than Merc and BMW equiv cars in Australia).

I do agree with of the anti-Audi comments regarding the same interior. If I buy an S4 or an RS4, I don't want the same interior as the A4 2.0. And I saw an S4 on the road not less than 30 minutes ago and it was so anonymous (which for some buyers is what they are looking for).

And that being said, I'm not hooked on Audi. I want to have a BMW next (I like the look of the new 3 series coupe in the spy photos), or if I can afford it, maybe a MB CLK.

IsellBenz: people already confirmed the 300C uses an E class platform. And just so you know, so does the Chrysler Crossfire (MB SLK).

Seriously if you could read I would seriously enjoy debating with you. I never knocked the BMW or the Lexus so don't make stuff up, I actually said that they were at the Merc level. I was just knocking on Audi. Sure it's not always about money, and the A8 is a clean car, but in end its an Audi lol. Seriously stop trying to get around it. But I mean whatever floats your boat, if you enjoy spending money on VW's then hey man more power to you, Just don't call me an arrogant idiot when you're upset that you spent six figures on your beloved Audi, haha (and this guy calls me ignorant). Congratulations on your three Audi's i'm seriously happy for you, I hope you continue making great decisions in the future.

The digital design of the car iS ALMOST right. If you look carefully at the photo the real tail lights are more Maybach/CL-esque and they also don't 'infringe' the boot line. It is probable that its the next c class as it could not be the E-Class because the E was released later and it would have a bigger boot.

Seriously rlk, people who talk about themselves being all cool and stuff with lots of money are just really insecure people, so before you keep bragging about what you have make sure the people who you're talking to aren't a notch above you. Take care sport.

@Timmy G: regarding the same interior...well if someone comes up with a better one im sure they will put that one in it..
And dont worry about the same interrior in an A4 and RS4... What about the interior of the 5series, 6series, 7series.....
The point is....if its good for them it will stay.

Regarding the MB vs. Audi... Audi is on the top in many aspects, but if you are a businessman who can afford to buy a new car every year, you want the star on the hood, preferably to the 4 rings. People that buy expensive cars usally arent interested in performance but in the looks and BRAND
