"Also, the car will be available in just four colors: black, matte black, vibrant orange and a color that couldn’t be read by the Google Translate tool"

Beige ? Obviously

I thought it's already running the same RE070 tire as GT-R, so what more grip does it need? Just get the ATTESA from Nissan.

It's a sarcasticcomment, so no need to take it too seriously.

Man that car is going to fail. Doesn't look special at all.

Who in their right mind (other than a few clueless rich Lexus fans) will pay $100,000 more for that car than the faster, better looking, more powerful, better pedigreed 599? Looking at that car is proof enough that Lexus is nothing more than Toyota in disguise.

Yes it is a Toyota but no present MB, BMW, Audi, Porsche...etc can compete with it on track. Actually what you said is a compliment that LFA is nothing but a Toyota.

Jungu,

Can you post some OFFICIALLY recorded LF-A laptimes? That way we all can make the comparison.

JUNGU,

I knew you wouldn't provide any data.

how about you produce some official lap times of a car that no one owns? Are you retarded or what? And the other official color is 'Whitest White', not beige, sorry. Nice try though, MSP6, but fail. You can look up lap times all you want that doesn't prove anything. Lap times were recorded of 7:24 around the ring. And 3 seconds faster than anything else in the wet at top gear track, for the BASE model. No big wing, no front splitter, no carbon fiber canards, no increase in horsepower. LexSucks-sucks!

"Lap times were recorded of 7:24 around the ring. "

- Sources? Or do you believe everything that Toyota tells you? LOL!!

The only thing that sucks are Lexus Fanboys. I guess that's how you have to be when you're riding on a sinking ship.

Just look at the picture of the car above. It looks like some sort of new Supra, not a 599 challenger, or even more crazy is that it costs $100,000 more than a 599. What a joke. I almost feel sorry for Toyota, not the fanboys though.

LexSucks,

You are such a blatant Lexus hater, it's almost amusing to see how you respond with such artery-busting fashion to any pro-lexus comment/person on this site. Well, at least any success for Lexus hasn't cost you any sleep at night, or has it?

Anyway, I take it that you've owned enough Ferrari's in your lifetime to render a moot point of this Lexus LF-A. But as basic human right's; to each his own my friend. Sleep well.

Lemonade,

You are such a delusional fanboy. So delusional in fact, that you will blindly defend a car that comes from a company that failed time-and-time again to create a benchmark performance car. I know it hurts but facts are facts, and the fact is that Toyota… Umm Lexus has yet to build a car that is more dynamic than the competing BMW or Exotic supercar. The LF-A is probably as just as dynamic. But in order for Lexus to provide a car that is just as dynamic as a Ferrari, the Lexus has to cost more than the Ferrari. Which is insane.

http://www.autospies.com/news/Lexus-LF-A-laps-the-Nurburgring-in-7-minutes-and-24-seconds-24268/ there's your link, go to youtube and look up videos and you'll see videos of it going faster than a lot of other exotic cars out there.

Freshseth,

Those are not official laptimes. And I never said that it wasn't faster than some exotics.

another thing is the 599 costs at least 300-400K, where you can find one 100K cheaper than the LFA you'd better buy it. Maybe used models or ones that are a couple years old. Not to mention the new 599GTO coming will probably push 500K. The car is heavier, isn't any faster, doesn't run the ring faster, it's interior isn't up to the LFA's and isn't as rare. On top of it all, the LFA is made of carbon fiber, the Ferrari isn't. Proof that you pay for a name rather than paying for performance. The other front engined car in this category was the SLR, which is 450K.

Freshseth,

I like the way that you are selective with your comparison subjects. You mentioned a few areas in which you feel that the LF-A is better. You didn't provide any numbers so I will.

The 599:
Has 2 more cylinders than the LF-A
Has more Horsepower than the LF-A
Has more Torque than the LF-A
Has 1 more clutch
Has 1 more gear
Is cheaper than the LF-A
Has a better name brand than the LF-A
Looks better than the LF-A
And I’m willing to bet that the 599 is also lighter than the LF-A

I think this is a beautiful car, and the performance is remarkable despite who makes it or what is costs. I am, however, surprised that in all this arguing no one has mentioned the Corvette ZR1. It weighs about the same, makes over eighty more horsepower and, given these numbers are correct, is only a couple of seconds behind the LFA around the ring. It only costs arount $110,000, less than a third the cost. I'm sure you get what you pay for in build quality and exotic materials and what not, just figured someone should throw that out there.
