WAGON Battle! Audi A6 Avant Vs. BMW 5-Series Touring Vs. Mercedes-Benz E-Class Wagon

WAGON Battle! Audi A6 Avant Vs. BMW 5-Series Touring Vs. Mercedes-Benz E-Class Wagon
When it comes to rivalries, there are none greater than the Big Three in Germany. With Audi, BMW and Mercedes-Benz producing mid-size luxury wagons, and offering three totally different personalities, we want to know which one you dig the most.

Audi's A6 has been ruling the suburban roads for quite some time now, but is it too outdated to run with the other new guys?

BMW's 2011 5-Series Touring certainly brings a lot to the party. With a fresher and more fluid look than the E60 5-Series, the F11 brings a more conservative design to the table.

Mercedes-Benz's E-class has a bold and edgier design going into 2011 and its wagon continues that trend. With that said, is it too stuffy to maintain a solid stance against the more youthful A6 and 5-Series?

E station looks better than the Sedan to me but i would rank it last here. BMW looks the best but A6 is in it's last years.

Have to agree here that the BMW Touring looks the best here. Expect the next gen A6 to return to the top as it is known for holding the position in this model arena in many different categories when it comes to looks, handling etc.

I noticed that the rails on the roof of the BMW (now the 4th generation touring) is the same as what was used in the 1st Gen 5 series touring and has been used on the Audi avants ever since they've been in production. I quite like this look vs. the ones in the 2nd (I currently have one of these in the stable) and 3rd Gen 5 series touring.

Hoping that the masses begin gravitating towards wagons again so we can get some of the real nice estates (i.e. Audi RS4, RS6, BMW's 335, M5 Touring etc.) coming across the pond.

that is a sexy A$$ wagon BMW made and I am sure there will be a huge demand for it in the U.s even though they will start offering them in the U.K. this looks better than the 5GT, X5 and the X6 I think. I would take this over any of those 3 this is a well balanced car as far as design goes and the interior looks like everything is at your finger tips.

1.BMW
2.Audi
3.MB

I've been a personal fan of the BMW 5-series wagon, but I do see a ton more of the Audi Avant's around. Even the A4 Avant was a nice wagon.

But I am not seeing Volvo here. They are what comes to my mind when I first think of luxury and wagon. The V70, V70R and XC70 to be clearer. I love the last generation V70R and the current XC70 is a beautiful car with a great AWD system. So for the money, I'll stick with The V.
