SRX = Chevy Equinox. For about 10k less you can get the same car.

Or for $15k less you can get the Tiguan, the same car as the Q5.

If by same you mean not based on similar platforms you are 100% correct.

So, it's heavier, slower, drinks more gas, assembled with inferior quality materials and engineered to a level of driving style only enjoyed by Americans and nothing beyond that. It takes 8 more feet to stop it and it's even more expensive? Ahem, and it won? Really!

It didn't win. I think you misread the conclusion.

The awd SRX gets 1 less mpg in the city while putting out 30hp more. And hold off on the interior material quality till you actually sit in one.

Limon - The SRX puts out 30hp more yet is a full second slower to 60. And interior quality of the SRX may be good at first glance but it is not to the same standards as the Audi.

That's funny cause Audi's interior is boring and cheap at a first glance.

I am surprised the Caddy did so well. The Caddy lineup is actually starting to look rather appealing.

The EPA numbers are put onto the window sticker by the owner of the company who makes the thing, ahem. Parden me if I feel they may be a bit optimistic. The EPA numbers on the Audi I know for a fact are a little on the pessimistic side. The Q5 will do well into the upper mid twenties on the highway which is way better than the 23mpg listed on the window officially. I have looked at the interior of the SRX and I stand by what I said. Wait 5yrs and see what the interior of the Cadi looks like then, maybe you will understand what I'm talking about.

lol BS, the EPA numbers follow a standardized test. I could say the exact same thing as you but reverse bias and be just as correct as you.

The Audi Q5 wins yet again. I have not seen a comparison test where the Audi Q5 has lost. The Q5's sales success is another testament to the fact that it is the complete package for its segment.
