U.S.-bound Fiat 500 coming with a new platform
The US market will get reintroduced to Fiat in the form of the Fiat 500, which will have its American version released next year, according to an Inside Line report.

This version may have an identical appearance to its European sibling but it will have a different platform — the Fiat Group’s upcoming A platform shared with the future Fiat Panda and Lancia Ypsilon. Numerous advantages are offered: the higher impact security, an improved noise, vibration and harshness level and reduced weight. Meanwhile, the Euro-spec 500 will not get the new platform.

And here we have it folks. The second huge mistake has been revealed, the first being the Ram brand. What a joke. There will be more to come, I guarantee it. I have some advice for FIAT. Now that Bob Lutz will be available, hire him as a consultant (not as a manager) to fix Chrysler's problems. I guarantee that it will be worth the price.
