Nissan 370Z and Infiniti G37 receive 515 hp from Stillen
The California-based tuning firm Stillen has launched a supercharger kit for the 2010 Nissan 370Z and Infiniti G37. With this package, Nissan 3.7-liter V-6s is able to generate 515 hp. Stillen’s engineers made sure that the engine could handle the power.

The internals are actually already strong enough to take the extra boost, but there was a need for the cooling system to be boosted to maintain a normal operating temperature for the engine. Stillen achieved its goal with the use of an air-to-water intercooler integrated into the new high-flow cast aluminum intake manifold, along with additional oil and transmission coolers.

I wonder how it is if Stillen supercharges that 2.5 V6 than 3.7. It'll probably have better throttle response and handle even better.

Superchargers take power to make power and more power = less handling. Optimal a/f makes response. Do you own a pony/muscle car?

HP is not my main concern here. It's the better rev response that I'm looking for as the resistance in VQ37 is certainly noticeable. It'll handle better because of less weight and better response, if any.

I'll rather get a used Cayman, and that's exactly what I planned to do.

These engines don't need more horsepower. What they need is more refinement. Drive any 3.5 or 3.7L V6 from Nissan and you will find out. They are really rough when revved. More smoothness is necessary.

Exactly.

That is very true.

Wow, that is very impressive. I would gladly take either!
