Rumor: Audi SQ5 and RSQ5 in the works

According to the latest reports, it appears that Audi is currently preparing something sensational: two sport version of the Q5 compact crossover which will be dubbed SQ5 and RSQ5.

The Audi SQ5 will make its debut in 2011 and will carry a V6 petrol engine capable to deliver 333 hp as well as the Quattro system. Regarding to design of the car, it appears that this will have a chromed grille as well as the impressive S-line wheels.

not exactly, as this competes with the X3 - therefore, Audi would be the first to venture into the compact sport ute high performance category...a look at the competition:

X3
GLK
LR2
RX
EX
XC60

when you look at this list, only Audi makes sense to have a high performance model. Why not BMW? Well, let them release the next X3 first, because the current generation blows. As for Infiniti, if they made a high performance EX before the G, I think everyone would be pissed.
