Is THIS The First Nice-Looking GOLD Car?

Usually when we see a gold car, there is just something absolutely heinous about it. As far as this writer's concerned the only thing that should be gold are the bars within the Federal Reserve.

Otherwise, it is just too overkill and way too "let me show you my hamburger meat" and gold chains. Just sayin'.

But, the fellas at GTspirit, who were recently on a trip to Dubai, have stumbled across what very well maybe the best looking gold car my eyes have seen.

What do you think? Tacky OR should the owner be given a standing ovation?

During our stay in the UAE over the past few days we have seen many many supercars but for some reason this gold Porsche 997 GT2 we stumbled upon in Dubai really stands out. Gold cars often make it into our overkill category but this one looks stunning and is certainly one of the best looking GT2’s we have seen. The black wheels fit nicely with the dark gold exterior and the black leather interior.

I think the colour is metallic bronze.
This gold colour looks so close to the beautiful orange colour of GT3 RS. With black wheels it is one of my favourite Porsche colour.

BTW now here in UAE foil wrapping is very popular. That can give you the same effect at lot less money and can easily be removed and changed.
