McLaren’s MP4-12C fetches more than 1,600 orders
Sales of McLaren’s MP4-12C have been quite impressive. Delivery of the car is slated to begin in spring 2011. Since the first images with McLaren’s latest supercar were shown last September, more than 1,600 people have signed official expressions of interest in purchasing one.

But since only 1,000 units of the MP4-12C will be produced, about 600 other potential buyers will have to wait until further notice. Earlier, McLaren had said that 25% of the units will be sold in the UK and 25% in the US. The rest will be delivered all around the world, primarily in Germany and Europe.

If you put a big V8 in front of an RX-8 (especially a lazy one), you'll completely screw the car balance and will end up with a nose-heavy, uncomfortable cruiser that does nothing right. Very stupid comment from our village idiot.

If you're looking for "bang for the buck", go get a Lotus Exige.

lol you are going to fit a v8 in the bay of mini rotary engine.

that engine probably weighs as much as the rx8.
