1995e34,

You're free to choose any car YOU can afford.

meaning... you are obviously pro German and not in the market for this car. So, if you can afford the SLS (which I highly doubt), then by all means buy it.

The Headline should read "Toyota plans to build 50 units of the LFA Nurburgring Track Edition". Lexus doesn't build anything! Most expensive Toyota ever!!!

1BadMan,

So by your logic, one can argue that Lamborghini doesn't build anything, Audi AG does?

One question, are these 50 part of the 500. Or will there be 550?

thats ok if you want the SLS over this, I'm sure you want a company who bribed their government to be under your rear. The SLS would be ok if it had a little more of a boot. The hood looks tremendously long. I doubt it'll perform the way the LFA does.

lol at the comments on here...It came out during the recent congressional hearings that Toyota used clout to get out of making a larger recall which led to this whole acceleration crisis and people are saying Mercedes is crooked hahahahahah

Also how hilarious that the Japanese are naming a car after a German track...What no great race tracks in Japan?

Doucheland,

You're just mad that the Germans were dumb enough to get caught with their had in the cookie jar.

actually the F stands for Fuji, which is a legendary Japanese racetrack. Honda owns Suzuka, which is one of the best racetracks in the world, even F1 drivers love it. It's a favorite of many racers around the world. They named it Nurburgring edition to celebrate the return to the nurburgring for the 3rd time, but the first time with a production car. Which I might add they just won their class SP8 in the 4 hour race earlier today. Of course their only competition in class was a corvette but they placed 28th out of 170 entrants. Laps times were much faster than their main competition as well. Even placed higher than the pole sitter Black Falcon R8LMS.
